A cat in the temple...
On the way to work, I try to visit ”あびこ観音” (Abiko Kannon temple) in my neighbor. Sometimes on the way back as well. I'm very fortunate that I have this temple near by.
I feel very positive relaxing energy filled in the temple. Very gentle and kind which seems to be an embrace of "聖観世音菩薩” (Sei Kanzeon Bosatsu) . It is the main worshiped Buddha in this temple.
In the temple, I see a herd of pigeons strolling in the ground filled with tiny stones, and they sometimes circle over the temple in the sky. And I occasionally see a few cats which I can't tell clearly if they are stray cats or not. Maybe they are, but they look adopted to the temple as if they were the residence.
The cat in the photos is my favorite one. I guess that she must be the first follower cat in the temple because she is always around the main temple where the statue of "聖観世音菩薩” (Sei Kanzeon Bosatsu) is placed inside. She might be the only cat which is allowed to step on the main temple by the Buddha.
However she never step in the alter room as if she knew she is not allowed. Looks very clever with dignity.
This cat always gives me inspirations for my iPhone photography. She is posing herself in the ways as I expect. The postures and facial expressions are very attractive and interesting.
In each season, I may be able to take interesting photos of this cat. We are now in the Winter, and she is posing herself taking a nap in the Sunshine. However she looks a bit stiffed because of its chilly temperature. In the next Spring, she must be taking a nap cuddling herself on the belly onto the ground or the wooden floors warmed up by the Spring's energy.
