Skys on parade...
A new typhoon is reaching Osaka area tonight. I've just received a text message from my boss if I can come to work earlier for the typhoon shift. Public transportation seems to be already announcing the suspension of evening schedule.
Anyway, because of the typhoon approach, the phenomenon of Sky and clouds are rapidly changing.
2 days ago, I could enjoy various phenomenon throughout the day. The stunning one was a rainbow sticking into the clouds as if it were a ladder to a world that might imaginary exist in the clouds.
In one's stereotype, rainbows make a half-round shape bridge in the sky which make us fantasize a magical gate for another world, but what I saw 2 days ago was not a typical one as some thick clouds in the sky was blocking the light beam of colorful layers.
However if I look at the view carefully, I realize how magical and wondrous the laws of perspective was making one moment of the rainbow striding into the clouds.
In the evening, I was cycling along the river side of Yamato river trying to expect some Sunset magical moments.
I normally take photos of Sunsets from the bridge in late Autumn and Winter season because of the position of the Sun. As the Sunrise viewing from my balcony is ending gradually also because of the position of the Sun, I start wondering what kind of Sunset viewing I could enjoy this coming Autumn and Winter season...
Some say that Halo Phenomenon is rare to see. However it is nothing but a frequent phenomenon for me as the probability of encountering is quite high. Maybe I look up to the sky more than people do. They might be just missing the opportunities.
Whenever and wherever I go, people find me looking up to the sky trying to gaze at something in the sky. And They might wonder what he is doing. Well, I'm just trying to encounter wonderful sky phenomenon, and hopefully expecting to catch them in my photo frames.
It is definitely much better and amusing than walking dully looking down to the ground. In the city life, what we see is only the pavement of asphalt.
