Less caffeine life with more water...
Having a thought of when I started drinking much coffee... That must've been when I was a tour escort. I visited western countries and sometimes others many times. While leading my groups, our tour buses would make stops for a short break at Cafe/Restaurant on High ways, or in the cities. I would try to find my free time at Cafes to sip a cup of coffee whenever I had a opportunity.
Black Coffee, Espresso, and Latte depending on my mood for the days. Sometimes 3 or 4 cups per day. I never felt before that I was addicted to caffeine, but I feel somehow now that I might have...
Lately I try to reduce the amount of coffee per day, and to make it a rule to take only one or two cup per day. Instead I'm now trying to drink water as much as possible to hydrate my body and organs properly after reading a book about our constant dehydration causing physical and mental troubles written by Dr. F. Batmanghelidj ("Water:For Health for Healing for Life:You're Not Sick, You're Thirsty"). Not only for coffee, but also for alcohol and soft drinks are also the cause for those troubles.
Fortunately I've been never in any serious sickness for years, but I might get a serious one sometime soon if I kept neglecting some signals from my body conditions; Physical weariness or a certain level of Insomnia. The book is pointing out how important we need to hydrate our body properly drinking water, and also the Medical and Pharmaceutical organizations and companies' profit principals hiding Inconvenient Truths.
Although I have said that, I can't stop visiting my favorite cafes for relaxing. The only thing I need to do is to pay a constant attention to my conditions controlling what I take in my body.
