Grabbing the chance for a simple ordinary life...

During my 9 years tour escort career, I went to nearly 45 countries, and I might have met hundreds of, or maybe thousands of, or ten thousands of people if I exaggerate. Most of them was just passing me by time by time, or occasion by occasion for some reasons of our life purposes, but only several whom I had got involved with more than the rests are now my good friends.

Some years ago, one day on the way back on the board of a flight from Europe, one of my clients smoked a cigarette in a toilet, and the smoke ditector caught my client, and one cabin attendant came to me and blah, blah, blah... This cabin attendant is now my good friend.

I said to him, "you can ask your captain to let him off board the aircraft somewhere at an unknown airport over Siberian winter territory!" cause I had enough, more than enough from him during the tour in central Europe.

Anyway, the captain decided to take him back home in Japan...

At my current work, a group of Argentina checked in. They arrived in Osaka flying from Germany. Since they were supposed to do early check in, one of my colleagues were trucking their flight on the internet if they are coming here on scheduled, and I had a sudden feeling that he may be duty on the flight.

The next day, I suddenly received a text from him, "Are you working today?"

"What!?"

I was supposed to work that day, and we decided to go out for dinner next day. I requested a Korean dining restaurant　”明月" in Kyobashi, Osaka that we went to for the last time. Very YUMMY, Korean hot pot dish with vegetables and poke meat. To close the dish, we ordered a deep fried rice cooked with the left over soup.

I have several friends who has a unique life style. If I hadn't worked as a tour leader, I wouldn't have had such friends in the world.

I don't have friends, friends and friends. And I don't need, and I've never intended to. However I always end up becoming friends with people who are pretty much interesting in life and personality.

Some say, "You are attracting those unique people cause you are the same".

I always wish a simple ordinary life as others do, but I might have already missed the chance to grab it. I felt it very strongly last year, and realized "Better not expect it anymore. And just accept my fate and enjoy it".

Anyway, in a proper proverb,

"Birds of a feather flock together"

Something like that...
