On the Winter solstice day...
On the Winter Solstice day this morning, I went to Miwa Shrine in Nara, allegedly one of the oldest shrines in Japan to clime up Miwa mountain which is considered as the object of worship.
Now I completely understand that the harsh pain on my back the other days wanted to lead me to this day. Surprisingly or not, it suddenly disappeared soon after I had decided to slide the initial planned date to this day.
They sometimes give us a simple tool or event to make us aware of their important messages.
It is Pain...
Through the experience with whatever emotional or physical pain, we learn something. Or "Have to". Otherwise we they keep giving the same until we become aware of their intention.
After finishing my morning routine "Radio Exercise" in Nagai Park, I headed for Miwa. I was supposed to arrive three around 8:30 to clime up Mt. Miwa, but I got their passed 9:00 because I missed a train I planned to catch. The funny thing was I had enough time to transfer for a train in Nara station, and I was actually standing in front of the train at the platform, but I ended up just watching it departing from the truck...
I found it out later in Tennoji Station on the way back home why this 30 min adjustment occurred to me anyway. When this kind happens to us, we need to be relaxed to the situation.
My last visit for climbing Mt. Miwa was last June soon after moving back to my life in Nagai. I remember it was tough to climb up the mountain after some years, but each step was hard to step forward feeling heaviness as if I was in fetters. And running out of breath easily.
However I didn't feel anything this time. Just easy feeling relieved from all the burdens or something I might have had. I was just happy that I was here on this amazing day in this Holy Mt. Miwa.
I'm sure that my life is becoming more involved with Shinto and Buddhism once the New year 2018 starts. Everything is being well prepared getting new interesting friends.
Oh well, let's see what is gonna happen...
Every time I visit Miwa, I go for lunch there to try Miwa Somen (Miwa Nodule), one of the local specialties in the town. At my favorite restaurant, the owner specially served 3 pieces of Sushi topped with fresh fish that he fished last night. So lucky.
It is normally supposed to be just rolled Sushi with seaweed.
I'm becoming more and more only on my own interests making a living quietly in this town.
On the Winter solstice day, the energy balance is allegedly converted from the Negative to the Positive. And it is the time for us to nature the seeds in our safe hands until the right time comes in Spring.
And it is going to be the Vernal equinox day on 21st of March in 2018.
What a amazing day!
