Go for good vibes...
Every morning, I go for jogging at Nagai park and see early bird runners passing me by. I have never imagined myself running at marathon events because I am so bad at running marathon.
However my every morning jogging exercise one day turn into running exercise and may join a marathon event someday and somewhere in near future. Who knows...
Osaka Marathon 2017 took place this morning, and I went there to see runners. When I got there, it already stared, and the runners were running between Osaka castle and Kitahama Business district. It is my first time to see a city marathon event. It was really amusing with cheerful atmosphere supported by event volunteers and supporters.
Runners have different motives to run in this event. Some are serious challenging themselves, but some just doing for fun. It was almost like something like a festival.
Recently I saw an article regarding other marathon event which banned runners to wear in costumes. For me, it looks fine as long as they don't bother other runners, and costumes don't cause a trouble for the runner's health conditions. The organizer who banned costumes might have concerned this point.
I saw some foreigners running in this event, and noticed many Taiwanese because they placed their national flag on their uniform, or painted it on their face. They must have been joining this event from Taiwan. I heard supporters cheering them saying "加油加油..."
Recently I'm avoiding more and more in bustle and hustle conditions with people. However I rather felt comfortable in this cheerful good vibes coming from people joining this event. Runners, Event organizes, Volunteers and Supporters.
By roughly 3 thousands of runners running, it was as if they were making a flow of good vibes running in the town.
It was chilly in weather this morning, but warmed up with cheerful vibes. A very nice Sunday morning indeed.
